Art History Minor
The art history minor provides students with the tools to examine the social, political, religious, and practical functions that images, objects, and buildings have served in the past and present. In addition to art history courses, students take writing, media communication, and museum studies courses. The art history minor is a useful complement to a major in Art, Business, Engineering, History, or Media Communication.
Museum Studies Minor
The minor in museum studies offers students the foundational skills and knowledge required for museum work and for graduate study in related areas. The minor includes museum internships and courses from a breadth of fields that are relevant to various aspects of museum work from marketing to curating. The minor is designed to complement a variety of major areas of study including Art, Art History, Education, History, Media Communication, and Anthropology.

The art & creative media minor functions to enrich the educational experience of a variety of majors. Students benefit from exposure to methodologies and tools to explore creative project solving in the world of creative industries.
